Ghouls Out for Summer

You know how we said we wouldn't be playing again for a while? Well we lied...kind of. Look out for a top-secret Plimptons gig at a venue near you (if you live in the Saltmarket anyway) soon...but it won't feature any of our own tunes as it's one of those tribute type-things. You know the score, come along and pretend some real legends are gracing the stage as a bunch of untalented upstarts like what we are attempt a poor approximation of the real thing. You know it makes sense!

Meanwhile, it has come to our attention that some members of the audience at past gigs heard our song Nazi Army and took it to mean that we were in fact disciples of Adolf Hitler and his teachings. The Plimptons categorically deny all allegations of an affinity with the moustachioed one, the song in question is merely poking fun at youthful bravado and machismo and not celebrating the holocaust. Rowan's cats have designs on taking over the world (see left), but that's another story...

We have finalised the line-up for our return proper, a Spooktacular Halloween Special Saturday on the 27th October. In addition to a fancy dress challenge and some games, we'll have the mighty Aphrodisiacs and the legendary Hardy Boys performing for your delectation. Get those thinking caps on and you might come up with something better than a "Zombie Sandie Thom" to dress up as!

The Plimp goes on...
