Only Joking
Bandular Business
A new 6-piece line-up will be gracing the stages as soon as Neil comes back from wherever it was he went, but in the meantime, you can be entertained by the fretskills of Cal as he stands in for our bass boy. We have lots of gigs coming up too, like the Only Joe Kane album launch. This promises to be no ordinary gig, featuring a dubiety show of acts including Miss Leggy Pee and magician Kevin Price. It should be ma...err....good, so come along.
Also on the cards is a return to the excellent Pin-Up Nights club night, which we will be gracing with our presence on September 21st at their brand new venue. A little bird tells me it'll be on Sauchiehall Street, but we have no more info to share at present...check back nearer the time for the lowdown.
Oh yeah, our Spooktacular Halloween Saturday night at the Note now has special guests Blind Pew playing! Belter.
Blue Velvets
Fresh from the success fo being the Evening Times' Band of the Week and getting reviewed in The List, we're raring to go on the live circuit again.
So come and see the PLIMP LIVE EXPERIENCE on the 8th of April (Easter Sunday so no work the next day!) when we are priveleged to be playing alongside the legendary Hugh Reed Explosion and Glasgow Glambangers at Nice'n'Sleazys in Glasgow. More details nearer the event, but suffice to say it will be a cracker as us young upstarts learn how it should be done by the original comedy rocker.
Also, people other than ourselves have noticed that Pomp! exists... we got played by Vic Galloway and Phill Jupitus on the radio, and a few reviews were written. See how much other people think we suck on our Feedback page.
