Super Sex-Piece

It's official - we are now a fully-functional rockingtastic 6-piece entity. The first gig with the new line-up was an absolute belter, and when not on guitar-playing duties, Cal managed to perform penny-whistle on Lonely Old Man and Thatcher impersonations during live Favourite John Major. It also left MJ Plimp free to "let fly" (ahem) as often as he wished...so maybe it wasn't such a hot idea after all.

To witness the full-on rock assault that is The Plimptons live, you'll have to wait until the 29th of September when we'll be playing fave haunt the 13th Note alongside LJaded Internet phenomenon Penny Broadhurst and the beautiful acoustic folk of Ceylan Delikanli.

If for some reason you fail to catch us then (and we will be expecting a doctor's note!), we're continuing our annual tradition of a gig roundabout the date of Halloween, and this year it's on the 27th of October in the 13th Note. we have put together a superb line-up for the night, featuring Blind Pew and The Aphrodisiacs as well as some seasonal buffoonery, so you really should come to this too.
